The utility of the bunk bed delights kids and parents as well, for one they come in different colors and style to suit your bedrooms interior and can be used both by girls and boys. It’s quite possible to house 2 kids in one small bedroom if you use bunks for the kids, and it doesn’t take up any more space than one single bed. So if you’ve got more kids than bedrooms buy a bunk bed instead of a new house, it’s way cheaper. Some bunk beds even come with space for storage under the bottom bed, and some have drawers and shelves for convenience. Such additions are useful when there are space issues. Prior to buying a bunk bed, check for its sturdiness. This can be done by placing your hand on top bed and shaking the whole unit to check if there is any movement. Also make sure you buy child friendly bunks. Dont buy bunks with no railings on the top. And make sure they have good solid stairs. Also don’t get bunks with corner posts that stick up above the railing, kids can catch things on them and fall, or hang off them, which is not good for your childs safety. The best bunk bed to consider would be a full bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. The wider bed below would create a better balance. Also, since the children grow older, consider buying bunk beds that can be separated, because as the children grow older, the beds will be still useful. They can be used as separate beds.
